Can I get help towards paying for my liposuction surgery?

Unless you can convince the NHS that you have a good case for treatment then you will have to pay for liposuction yourself. This means going as a private patient which can be costly.

Your options are either paying for surgery out of your savings or other financial arrangements, or applying for a loan. If you opt for a loan then you have the choice of applying for a medical loan from a specialist medical insurer or from a cosmetic provider. Cosmetic clinics tend to operate their own finance scheme which takes the form of monthly repayment loans at competitive rates.

If costs are an issue then one way of reducing these is to consider going abroad for surgery but this has its risks. Each of our individual FAQs sections has detailed information on this.
