What is the Macrolane gel made of?

This transparent gel is based upon a natural component of the skin called hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid occurs in the connective tissues which support the physical structure of the body. Examples of these include tendons‚ ligaments and cartilage. Connective tissue is also found in the inner layer of skin or dermis.

And because Macrolane uses this natural component in its gel it means that there is no risk of it being rejected by the body. It is assimilated as normal and with long lasting results.
