Q14. Which parasites cause food poisoning?

A14. There are several which are responsible for food poisoning and include:

  • Giardia
  • Toxoplasma
  • Cryptosporidium

These rarely cause food poisoning but if they do then expect mild symptoms which last longer than those for bacterial food poisoning.
