Q10. Which is the best procedure for me?

A10. Your surgeon will discuss the most suitable method for you during the initial consultation. He/she will probably recommend follicular unit transplantation (FUT) as this gives consistently good results.

However, follicular unit extraction (FUE) is also considered to be a reliable method and may appeal to people who prefer minimal scarring. FUT is usually preferred for patients who require extensive hair transplantation.

Something to think about: FUE is performed in more than one session which makes it more expensive than FUT. Price isn’t the overriding factor but as you will probably be paying for your treatment then it is a consideration.
