Q18. Will my partner become pregnant following my surgery?

A18. There is no guarantee of this. This surgery is successful for some people but not for others and there are any number of reasons as to why that has happened. These can include poor quality sperm, a build up of scar tissue from the surgery or a problem with your partner’s fertility. If this surgery doesn’t result in a pregnancy and a further reversal isn’t possible then IVF may be your only option.
