Levormeloxifene
Levormeloxifene is a selective oestrogen receptor modulator that was developed as an alternative to oestrogen replacement therapy for the treatment and prevention of postmenopausal bone loss. The development was stopped because of a high incidence of gynaecologic adverse events during clinical trials.
