Dental records needed to ID bodies after house fire-0514

Police in Wagga say that dental records will be used to identify three bodies, following a house fire in Forest Hills.

Police have said that it could take three days to get the DNA and dental records, but the bodies are believed to be those of married couple John and Denise King and their son, William.

Fire fighters discovered the first two bodies at the Dunn Avenue home in the early hours of the morning and found the third body, believed to be 13 year old William, at around midday the day after.

Crime Manager, Rod Smith, said that identifying the bodies would be a lengthy process; in this case, there is a lot of debris to sift through and it will take a while for police to obtain the necessary dental records to confirm the identity of the bodies.
