Singer Has Some Regrets Over Weight Loss-8930

The celebrity singer Rihanna told reporters recently that she has some regrets in going on a weight loss programme.

Seemingly she has reduced down to an American size zero but this has caused her glutes to disappear. She said: “I miss my *ss. It just went away!”

Rihanna was accused by some in the media of dieting excessively, but the singer denies this. While she admitted having a problem with her legs which she described as being thick Rihanna added: “I don’t know if there’s something going on with my body right now, but I’m eating everything in life!”

This last comment also re-affirms the idea that people like Rihanna are role models for many others, particularly impressionable children. Seemingly she is pointing out that while ensuring a proper weight is important dieting does have other consequences, some unforeseen.

What’s more, Rihanna insists that she has no intention of overdoing her diet to the point she is too thin. She uses her regime to maintain peak bodily fitness.

Rihanna who is now 24, added: “Everyone wants to have slim, perfectly-toned legs and I’m the same. I do weights but I don’t want my legs to bulk up so I do a lot of cardio.

“I’ve lost a lot of weight since I started working out and if I exercise every day for a week, I can drop several pounds. If I diet, I see even faster results. Cardio is the key….a lot of running on the treadmill.

I have a personal trainer who travels with me if we have a big event coming up. I work out every day but I need a trainer to motivate me.”

Rihanna’s comments only serve to reinforce what doctors know, namely that dieting alone will not solve a person’s weight problem. Nor will it solve a person’s psychological problem with their physical appearance.
