Recent research has found that Miami, Florida is the number 1 place to go for cosmetic surgery<\/a> in the USA.<\/p>\n

However this placing is based not on how good the surgeons are at performing their craft, but on the number of surgeons available per 100,000 residents who are over the age of 18. Miami apparently has 18 surgeons.<\/p>\n

In second place is Atlanta, followed by Dallas, San Francisco and Sacramento in the top 5. Nashville, Tennessee is 7th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

The research also found 1.5 million plastic surgery operations were carried out in the USA in 2010, plus 11.6 million, non or minimal invasive operations. The most popular procedures were: Breast augmentation, Nose reshaping<\/a>, Eyelid surgery, Liposuction<\/a> and Tummy tuck<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, reports that the well known fashion designer, Diane von Furstenberg has had plastic surgery have been denied. Ms Furstenberg was recently involved in an accident while skiing in Aspen. It seems another skier crashed into her breaking Diane\u2019s nose, and damaging her face a little.<\/p>\n

Denying the rumours, Diane Furstenberg told reports: \u201cIf I ever had any desire to have plastic surgery, I know for sure now, I would not want it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was so terrified that I would lose my old face. I don\u2019t want anybody else\u2019s face. I don\u2019t want a younger face. I just want my old face back.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
