A new cosmetic surgery<\/a> craze could be about to hit the UK, thanks to Pippa Middleton, the younger sister of Katie Middleton.<\/p>\n

Called the Pippa butt lift, the craze began after Pippa\u2019s curvy figure (particularly her behind) was noticed during the marriage of her older sister to Prince William. Since then, many young women in America and now the UK want to have the same sort of rear.<\/p>\n

Commenting on this new trend in an interview with Good Morning America, one cosmetic surgeon, Dr. Constantino Mendieta said: “In that wedding gown, she [Pippa Middleton] created a stir. People want those dimensions. She’s just\u00a0gorgeous.”<\/p>\n

These comments were also endorsed by one of Dr. Mendieta\u2019s patients, Christina Valdez, who said: “She’s got a nice rump that’s not too big. Her frame just looked\u00a0incredible in that dress.”<\/p>\n

Cosmetic surgery is a rapidly growing industry and while Botox treatment is still the number one craze, with the increasing interest in developing curvier figures, rear end surgery may become a leading contender for the top spot.<\/p>\n

The need to look and feel good, however, can come at a price. In some cases a very heavy price, both economically and physiologically. So it is worrying that some medical practitioners are not taking as good a care of their patients as they should.<\/p>\n

For instance in the USA, one patient decided to have some work done after giving birth<\/a>. However, things didn\u2019t go to plan. She told reporters: \u201cHe said, \u2018We\u2019re going to be opening you up anyway, and we can do a little tummy tuck<\/a> while we\u2019re there. It sounded so simple.”<\/p>\n

“I thought he was a compassionate, caring doctor,” she added.<\/p>\n

The problem it seems is she relied on her doctor who helped deliver her baby to give the lady a nip and tuck. She knew and trusted him because she also worked at the same hospital.<\/p>\n

However, her doctor was not a qualified cosmetic surgeon and as such, the lady in question suffered acute problems, which left her requiring many surgical operations. She had no choice but to take out a law suit against the doctor.<\/p>\n

“I trusted my doctor when he said he could do this for me,” the lady said. “Now I know, too late, that he didn\u2019t know what he was doing.”<\/p>\n

A large payout in compensation is the likeliest outcome. The doctor may also have to face being struck off the medical register.<\/p>\n
