Comedy actor Seth Rogen recently made what can only be described as a tongue in cheek statement that people who are overweight should forget trying to lose weight.<\/p>\n
However, while this is obviously not meant to denigrate people, his comments are a serious reminder to people that trying to lose weight is difficult.<\/p>\n
The comedian who has struggled with his own weight was told to slim down for his part in the comic-book adaptation feature film, The Green Hornet. Speaking with reporters about how he managed to trim Seth said: \u201cI did not do any experimental injections! It\u2019s just diet<\/a> and exercise. It works. Uh, stay fat, people. That\u2019s my motto. It\u2019s no picnic.\u201d<\/p>\n Seth Rogen who is now 28, also got engaged to his girlfriend Lauren Miller recently, but he denied that this had anything to do with his weight issue. He said: \u201cNo, my weight had nothing to do with my engagement! It would be pretty hilarious if it did, though.\u201d<\/p>\n On a more serious note, Nicki Anderson a fitness instructor in the US recently slated people who are struggling to lose weight. She suggested one of the major reasons for this is people are trying to do too much, too soon.<\/p>\n She told reporters: \u201cMost people try to go from doing nothing to working out five days a week. The likelihood of them sticking with it, due to injury or burnout, is very, very small.\u201d<\/p>\n She added: \u201cYou\u2019re better off making small changes that can be sustained over time.
