Use: Prevention of asthma attacks

Singulair is a leukotriene receptor antagonist that is used, either alone or in conjunction with inhaled corticosteroids, to reduce the frequency of acute asthma attacks.

It is usually taken at night.

Side effects:

- stomach upset
- dry mouth
- thirst
- hypersensitivity
- palpitations
- restlessness
