Which diet is best?
That is a very difficult question to answer. There are numerous diets available which all claim to help you lose weight and then maintain your new healthy weight.
Everyone is different when it comes to choosing a diet but it’s a case of finding one that enables you to lose weight slowly and safely. Experts would advise you to set sensible and achievable weight loss goals which include losing around 1 to 2 pounds a week.
If you are very overweight or have a BMI of more than 30 then speak to your GP as he or she can help you with a healthy diet and exercise plan.
