Q4. How much does a care home cost?

A4. There are no exact figures for care home fees. These do tend to vary according to the type of home, its location and the range of services it offers.

The one thing we can be certain about is the fact that they are expensive.

You can pay as much as £800 or more a week for a nursing home. Fees are higher for a nursing home than a residential home, which is due to the fact that they employed highly skilled nurses.

See our care home fees page for more information.
