Q25. What can I expect from hair transplant surgery?

A25. You will achieve natural looking hair which covers the bald areas as a result of hair loss.

The results are much better than in the past and patients notice that their transplanted hair looks and moves in the same way as their other hair. It is extremely difficult to tell between your ordinary hair and your transplanted hair.

If you have FUT or FUE then what happens is that the transplanted hair matches the hair in the donor site. It grows in exactly the same way and goes through the normal growth/loss cycle right into old age.

The results are with you for the rest of your life.
