A10. This is a popular antiperspirant which contains aluminium chloride and is used to treat hyperhidrosis.

It is similar to an over the counter antiperspirant except that it available on prescription and is stronger than conventional antiperspirants.

Do not confuse antiperspirants with deodorants. Deodorants mask the smell of excess sweating whereas antiperspirants prevent this sweating in the first place.

Use an antiperspirant instead of a deodorant for excessive sweating.
