What should I ask the LASIK surgeon at the consultation?
There will be so many things that you want to ask that it can help to prepare a list of questions before the consultation.
The main things to ask are to do with the surgeon’s level of experience and qualifications, the risks and benefits of the surgery and of course, the cost.
And, as there are two different types of techniques (blade and bladeless) then ask about these and what the differences are).
If you are not sure about something then ask as many times as you need to until you do. You want to be sure that you fully understand what this procedure involves before making a decision.
If the surgeon seems too ‘pushy’ or is giving you the ‘hard sell’ then go somewhere else.
