For many people, tattoos are symbols of identity, beliefs and lifestyle, with historical and cultural meanings. Or tattoos may simply be decorative. For women, tattoos can also represent fertility and expressions of sexuality. Many women choose to have tattoos and regardless of the reason, may experience changes in their existing tattoos when pregnant.
