Q16. Can you get bifocal contact lenses?

A16. Yes. This was not possible at one time but nowadays you can buy a pair of bifocal contact lenses.

There is also the option to wear contact lenses for looking at objects in the distance and switching to glasses when looking at things near to.

Some people like to alternate between the two whereas others wear bifocal lenses all day.

Bifocal lenses are discussed further in our soft contact lenses section.
