What is the buttock lift procedure?

This surgery is carried out under a general anaesthetic and involves an overnight stay in hospital.

It takes around 2 hours to complete but if you are having this done with other procedures such as liposuction then expect it to take longer.

The surgeon will make a series of incisions high up on the side of both the thighs and the buttocks. He/she will then trim excess fat and skin from these areas. Once this has been done he or she will close these incisions with stitches.

Dressings will be applied. You will find that you’ve had a special compression garment fitted which will aid with support and healing.
