Are there any reasons why I shouldn’t have blepharoplasty / eyeid surgery?

The main reasons for not having this surgery are suffering from one of the conditions listed in the previous question. Another factor is age: you may be too young or too old for this surgery. And, if you go with the attitude that this will vastly change your appearance, e.g. will make you look like a model or celebrity then you will be disappointed.

This surgery does give very good results and can make you look younger but it is not a ‘fountain of youth’.

It cannot guarantee that high flying job or revive a flagging marriage.
