Aftercare is an important part of the whole process. Do not feel that your provider’s responsibility to you ends after your surgery. You will require several follow up visits to check on your progress. These will include regular mammograms to check that there are no problems with your breasts.

Complications are rare but they do happen and if they do then you will be able to contact your surgeon immediately.
