How do I find a reputable breast enlargement surgeon?

This is the most important part of the process. If things go wrong then it is usually down to inexperienced or under qualified surgeons. So, it is worth spending some time finding a few ‘possibles’ before deciding upon the right surgeon for you.

There are a variety of ways in which you can find a surgeon. You can ask people who have had this surgery to recommend a surgeon. Another option is to ask your GP. He/she will be able to recommend a surgeon or refer you to a reputable surgeon.

You can find information about clinics and surgeons from the Internet and organisations such as The British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) or The General Medical Council (GMC). Sites such as Private Healthcare UK and Cosmetic Surgery Consultants contain advice about finding a surgeon.

If you decide to seek treatment abroad then the same rules apply. Choose your surgeon carefully as he/she is not readily available for follow up visits or if something goes wrong.
